How to make adjustable knot
We have learned how to make lark’s head knot and square know, and today let’s make adjustable knot.
Steps:
Step 1
Start with two pieces of ropes that are close in diameter. We’ll call them rope A and rope B for ease in describing this process.
Step 2
Cross cord A over cord B.
Step 3
Wrap cord A behind and around cord B. Wrap cord A behind and around cord B again. This will create two wraps.
Step 4
Loop the end of cord A back through the two loops that you created.
Step 5
Pull cord A taut. One side of your adjustable knot is finished.
Step 6
To start the second side of your adjustable knot, wrap cord B behind and around cord A.
Step 7
Wrap cord B behind and around cord A again. This will create two wraps.
Step 8
Loop the end of cord B back through the two loops that you created. Pull cord B taut and the second side of your adjustable knot is now finished.
Step 9
Congratulations! You now have an adjustable knot. To adjust your piece from long to short, just pull on both ends of your cord the knots will slide over the cord.
